The Kay-9 Dog Training Club of Ponca City contributed Pawprint Oxygen masks to the Ponca City Fire Department on Friday, March 17. These masks are developed to be utilized on dogs and cats to provide them oxygen in emergency situation scenarios. Nearly 40,000 family pets pass away in house fires each year, and this equipment enables very first responders to save those family pets. Kay-9 Club members Ruth Daugherty (in red left wing) and Kay-9 Club President Marilyn Epley (in red on the right) were on hand for the contribution to the Ponca City Fire Department.
