A just lately adopted canine that ran away from her new house owners was tracked down by a thermal-imaging drone, after 10 days “surviving on her own in the wild,” a Northern Irish pet rescue charity said.
Footage launched by the animal charity LostPaws NI reveals the “extremely emotional reunification” between Moo the boxer and her authentic proprietor, who traveled from Cookstown to Toome to assist find the lacking pooch.
Moo could be seen wandering alongside a rural street, trailed by her rescuers, earlier than they meet up with her. The “skeletally thin” canine could be seen leaping up and gobbling down meals.
“She likely didn’t have too much left. The videos really don’t do justice as to how skinny she is – or the near impacts with vehicles,” the pet rescue company wrote on Facebook. They stated it took 36 hours for them to seek out Moo with the assistance of the drone.
