Liz and Jason Foisy of North Bay are dog fans, and it’s their dream to see their animal Dachshund on a beer can identify.
Unusual for sure, however when Liz saw a story in BayToday about a contest raising money for Veterinarians without Borders, she sprang into action.

BG, the 11-month-old Dachshund, was a 50th birthday present for her hubby. When Liz informed him BG remained in the contest he said “Oh, she’ll win. She’s the prettiest.”
The couple has 3 dogs and Jason constantly desired a wiener dog so BG was an ideal present. “We simply enjoy animals,” Liz said.
BG’s contest review says, “I am extremely caring and rather a ridiculous rascal. I enjoy to have fun with my toys, play Frisbee and utilize my nose to examine whatever. Speaking of my long nose it does get me in difficulty often when I take and consume whatever I must not, however have no concerns since the difficulty is never ever actually anything however chasing me around with some random thing in my mouth which I in fact truly rather like. The picture contest, Animals and Ales, was introduced by Veterinarians Without Borders in collaboration with Fixed Gear Brewing in Guelph.
