Matthew Murray, 25, admitted the cruelty after footage confirmed him attacking the brown and tan bulldog, known as Bella, in a backyard in Bromborough, Wirral.

Murray, who informed the RSPCA he was “feeling burdened on the time”, was given the ban at Wirral Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
