A husky went Hollywood Thursday afternoon throughout a walking behind one of Los Angeles’ most popular landmarks.
A lady called 911 for help while she was treking on Mount Lee, on the Wisdom/Magic Tree path, with her 2 dogs when among them separated from them, Brian Humphrey with the Los Angeles Fire Department said. A group of 45 Los Angeles firemens reacted to the scene to help the lady rescue the dog as television helicopters caught the scenes overhead.
The dog seemed unscathed and in good condition, moving around in the brush on the hill. The location near Mount Lee and Cahuenga Peak is high, mainly covered in high yard and chaparral.
Hiker Andrew Roda attempted to trek down to the dog.
“He was shivering, he was worried,” Roda said. “And I fidgeted that I was a complete stranger and he would not be happy, and I didn’t wish to hurt him any even worse and didn’t wish to frighten him.”
Just as fire-rescue workers were preparing to rappel down the hill, the dog rushed up the hillside by itself to reunite with its owner.
