DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County fireplace officers are investigating a hearth that left a canine useless.

Firefighters had been known as out to a home fireplace on Midvale Road on Wednesday night time.

Fire officers mentioned all residents within the home made it out safely.

However, they had been trying to find a canine and after they discovered the canine, it had died.
