Things to do in Long Beach: Eco Fair, a spring show, neighborhood workshops and more!

The next week provides a wide variety of methods for citizens from all strolls of life to enjoy themselves and get in touch with their neighborhood in Long Beach and Signal Hill. 

To commemorate Earth Day on Saturday, there will be a plant swap in Bixby Knolls in the afternoon and an event on Retro Row from early morning to night. For totally free environment-centric presentations for the whole family, citizens can head to Sowing Seeds of Change Urban Farm to take part in a wide variety of activities. The environment-friendly efforts will advance Sunday for a student-led beach clean-up.

Spring Book Sale: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Signal Hill Library (1800 E Hill St.) is commemorating National Library Week by welcoming citizens to fill a bag with carefully utilized books, audio book CDs, music CDs and DVDs. Cash just.
