Martin Jenkinson, who lives in Shardlow, Derbyshire, has taken to utilizing a ship to get to and from his home.
He stated his property, which sits on stilts, was “utterly protected” and that access was the primary challenge.
Mr Jenkinson makes use of the boat for stability to walk down the flooded lane in the direction of his home, which he says is 1m deep in locations.
