Hey guys, i recently brought home a 4 month old indian ringneck. Hes been with me for 4 days. He has a good sized cage and no toys yet I'm planning om buying him. He has a healthy food blend with fresh water everyday. He seems pretty scared of me most the times and wants to get out since i got him. Im not sure as what to do next but im scared if i let him out hell run off or go crazy please let me know how to approach this

Male have a ring neck around them. I would buy him a bigger cage, the reason why is because birds need a space bigger for them enough to fly to the end. Toys and maybe a friend. If he gets stressed he will pluck his feathers. Watch birdtricks and cocktails are considered parrots

U are one of the worst bird owners I’ve ever seen he is not clipped correctly. Plus the way you treat him is not the way you treat a bird. And he’s not a parrot they are in the parakeet family

The reason your bird fell is because your using a dog crate. If your not home it will get stuck in the holes and wont be able to get out.
