this is a vet, not a groomer. he is only shaving the paws and ears to see if there are any medical needs to address. a groomer would do the rest. these owners needed to take this poor putty to the groomer when they first adopted it so they could make sure there were no issues. so sad they waited 2 weeks to have it seen.
would it be better to shave the dog fully to start a new growth after you took his hair out his ears? it just looks very uncomfortable for the poor dog.
Just shave the whole dog.
