  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, peanut butter, and applesauce until well mixed.
  3. Add water and stir until dough forms.
  4. Roll dough out on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  7. Cool completely before serving to your dog.

2. Sweet Potato Dog Chews

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  2. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into thin slices.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together coconut oil and cinnamon.
  4. Brush mixture onto both sides of each sweet potato slice.

  3. Add oil and water, and stir until dough forms.

5. Banana and Peanut Butter Frozen Treats

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  1. In a blender or food processor, blend bananas and peanut butter until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until solid.
  3. Pop treats out of the ice cube trays and store in an airtight container in the freezer until ready to serve to your dog.
  4. Give your dog one or two frozen treats as a refreshing snack on a hot day.
