A McDonald’s restaurant in East Sussex was compelled to close after a buyer introduced in dwell bugs to feed a pet snake.
The buyer introduced the bugs and a snake into the fast-food chain in Drove Retail Park, Newhaven on Friday.
McDonald’s mentioned: “As quickly as we had been made conscious, we closed the restaurant and requested the shopper to depart.”
A spokesperson mentioned the restaurant re-opened later that night after a “thorough clear” was carried out.
“Pest management consultants have attended the restaurant to hold out precautionary checks and can proceed to observe,” they added.
