Three dwell snakes had been found in a glasshouse at Glasgow Botanic Gardens after being dumped by an “irresponsible individual”.
Authorities had been alerted to the “distressing” incident after employees made the invention on the gardens within the West End of town on Monday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the council confirmed that preliminary sightings of the snakes brought on misery earlier than a member of employees with information of the animals recognized them as “non-venomous corn snakes”.
The Scottish SPCA was known as to the scene and an intensive search took place earlier than the snakes had been captured.
The council spokesperson mentioned that the “alarming” incident was attributable to one “irresponsible” individual who has dumped the animals in one of many glasshouses.
