Qualified plumber Josh Stringer, now 24, give up his full-time job in 2022 to begin his personal business, Dog Showers.

“But the last two years have been really good. I’ve always wanted to work for myself. I went into subcontractor work, which has been a rollercoaster, but the Dog Shower business has always been a constant.
“Proving people wrong in a sense, I like that. When people think that it won’t be doable, certain jobs are a challenge, I always find a way to do it. I like the end result and I like giving customers a product that they are over the moon with.”
Josh, who usually hears that the Dog Showers are “worth its weight in gold”, has remodeled the product since its conception. Now extra compact, Josh can also be capable of personalise the packing containers with dog names.
He has additionally spent extra time not too long ago marketing the product, as he seems to take the showers to the “next level”.
Josh mentioned: “I like a lot of reassurance in any aspect of life. Doing my own thing, especially without any preparation, and for it to turn out to be so successful – that’s the best thing. How well known it is, as well. And I’ve been doing it all on my own really. It’s very hard work. It’s a good feeling, a feeling of success.”
