“After an obvious change of phrases between the 2, the suspect threw one thing on the pupil’s canine after which assaulted the scholar with a small knife,” the college continued. “The suspect instantly retreated by means of an adjoining campus parking zone and exited the campus.”
Campus safety responded and the scholar was taken to the hospital for remedy for what Widener known as a “superficial wound.”
The pupil who was injured lives off campus, Widener stated.
The Widener campus was placed on lockdown for about 90 minutes. Winter break begins Friday night.
