SUNRISE, FLA. (WSVN) – A resilient canine is in for a ruff restoration after a superb Samaritan discovered it wandering on a South Florida road following an attack caught on digital camera.
Disturbing surveillance video reveals a person who seems to be intoxicated kicking a canine out of his home. Literally.
“Get the [expletive] out of my house,” he man is heard saying.
The incident occurred in a single day Thursday into Friday morning in n Northeast Miami-Dade.
Moments later, the person is seen retrieving a stick, to not play fetch, however to attempt to shoo the canine out from beneath a automobile.
Another man who heard the commotion is seen and coming outdoors to step in between the pup and the indignant man.
“Get in your house,” the opposite man is heard saying.
Fortunately, the canine managed to elude any extra bodily abuse.
Now the canine, since named “Pepe,” is resting peacefully at Saving Sage Animal Rescue in Sunrise.
“This poor dog was being kicked, he was being hit with a stick. It’s really so sad,” stated veterinarian Stephanie Tores with Saving Sage Animal Rescue.
Tores made house for Pepe of their overcrowded facility. Now she hopes the abuser is caught.
“We have [Pepe] here, and we barely have enough space for all these dogs at double our capacity,” she stated, “but we made some space for him. It’s really sad what happened to him.”
Neighbors advised police they know who the person is. Those caring for the canine hope he’s caught.
“We hope that you guys can help us catch this man,” stated Tores.
As of late Saturday night time, nobody has been arrested, as Miami-Dade Animal Services continues to research.
