Tom Mather was a visitor and judge at the Whixall Dog Show which occurred on Sunday, June 4 at the town’s social centre.

The program is a much-loved occasion for Whixall and money raised from it will go towards the upkeep and maintenance of the social centre which is at the heart of life in the town.

Show supervisor Elaine Turnbull said: “It was such an enjoyment to have Tom come and belong to our dog program and his simple and enjoyable way towards all rivals went along method making it an enjoyable and big day for all.

Mr Mather ended up being chairman of Crufts in 2019.
