A schoolgirl was left bleeding after being attacked by a harmful canine in a skatepark.

The teen, who doesn’t want to be recognized, was with mates at Musselburgh BMX monitor in East Lothian when an off-lead canine pounced on her, on Monday, March 18.




The canine sunk its enamel into her leg in the course of the frenzied attack earlier than turning on her good friend.

The proprietor allegedly kicked the out-of-control canine to finish the attack after which dragged it away to a parked automotive. It is known the canine was a black, gray and white terrier cross-type breed.

The two kids went home and sought medical help. Police Scotland confirmed they’re probing the attack.

The schoolgirl’s livid dad Iain mentioned: “The proprietor mentioned the canine was reactive and he or she walks it in quiet areas.

“That is not only a reactive canine – it was a harmful canine. It attacked my daughter. After it bit her it tried to attack her good friend.

“It was nonetheless making an attempt to attack when it was placed on the lead and needed to be locked in a automotive.
