After being deserted by his owner at San Francisco International Airport previously this year, Polaris the puppy discovered a brand-new permanently home this month, according to airline company and animal shelter authorities.

William Dale, a United Airlines captain, and his household embraced Polaris and commemorated his homecoming with an adoption celebration at SFO on Thursday, United Airlines and San Francisco SPCA authorities revealed in a press release.

Polaris’ owner obviously deserted him in September since the dog did not have the appropriate documents to stay in the United States, stated United Airlines representative Maddie King. The owner got here from Asia, King stated.

The puppy, approximated to be about 6 months old, was then required to an animal center at the Los Angeles International Airport to quarantine for 3 months while United authorities looked for an option to keep him in the nation.

United partnered with SF SPCA to discover Polaris a brand-new house.

” United’s Customer support group handled rather a difficulty to make sure Polaris would be safe, healthy and discover a caring house,” stated Lisa Feder, SF SPCA chief of rescue and well-being, in a news release.

” It’s a fantastic sensation to see this story come cycle which Polaris will have a caring house with United Airlines Captain Dale and his household– in the nick of time for the vacations,” stated Vincent Passafiume, United’s director of customer care, stated in a press release.
