Owner’s screams scare off coyotes dragging canine from again porch, Colorado household says

Jillian Houston and her husband, Hart, had been preparing for mattress after they heard what they thought had been dogs preventing of their yard close to Aspen, the Colorado household stated.

“I opened our bedroom window and saw (four) coyotes attacking what I thought was a dead animal,” Houston informed McClatchy News in an e-mail. “l screamed and the coyotes ran off.”

The coyotes had jumped a fence Monday, Dec. 11, and dragged Max, the household’s 5-year-old canine, from his tipi on their again porch, the place he usually spends his evenings.

“We called for Max and he walked back through our front door covered in blood, feces, and snow,” Houston stated.
