A five-year-old boy is “fortunate to be alive” after he was attacked by a canine whereas enjoying with a buddy. Laura Piert stated she “heard a scream” as her son Jaxon was bitten by the hound on September 21.

The little boy had been out enjoying behind a buddy’s home when he was attacked by a canine after it ran out of a backyard on Hempstead Close, St Helens, Merseyside at round 7.50pm. Jaxon was rushed to hospital after struggling bites to his arm and slightly below his ribs.
