A nine-month old infant remains in medical facility following a dog attack at a home in West Sussex.
The occurrence apparently occurred at around 2pm on Thursday at a property positioned in Lime Avenue in Aldingbourne.
While the child suffered severe injuries, they are not said to be harmful.
The animal has actually been taken by authorities while an examination is underway.
It is the latest in a wave of dog attacks throughout the nation in recent weeks.
