New Delhi: After BJP MP Nishikant Dubey claimed that the Lokpal has ordered a CBI probe towards Mahua Moitra, the Trinamool MP in response mentioned that the company was welcome to “come and rely my footwear”.
In a put up on X, Dubey mentioned that the probe has been ordered towards Moitra after he complained to the anti-corruption physique over ‘money for question’ allegations.
Hitting again, Moitra wrote on X that CBI ought to first file an FIR on the Rs13,000 crore Adani coal “rip-off”.
“For media calling me — my reply: CBI must first file FIR on ₹13,000 crore Adani coal rip-off; National safety challenge is how dodgy FPI owned (inc Chinese & UAE ) Adani corporations shopping for Indian ports and airports with the home ministry’s clearance. Then CBI welcome to return, rely my footwear,” she wrote.
“Very completely satisfied to know Modiji’s Lok Pal exists – & been spurred into motion by specifically bred pit bulls. Also Godi Media – why not ask Lok Pal’s workplace to launch assertion on referral. Bit humiliating for LP workplace to outsource such essential bulletins to canine farms, eh?” she additional wrote.
Dubey in a social media put up mentioned, “On foundation of my grievance, Lokpal has ordered a CBI probe into the Mahua Moitra’s corruption that compromises nationwide safety.”
Last month, Dubey complained about Moitra to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla alleging that the TMC MP accepted bribes from businessman Darshan Hiranandani to ask questions in parliament on his behalf to focus on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Adani Group.
The Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha is probing the allegations.
The committee will meet on November 9 to undertake a draft report on the cash-for-query allegation towards TMC MP.
