A person left in a crucial situation after being significantly injured in an assault by two dogs has died.

The assault occurred outdoors Main Street, Stonnall, close to Walsall, on Thursday afternoon, police mentioned.

The sufferer was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and was confirmed useless, emergency providers mentioned.

A person, 30, from Lichfield was arrested on suspicion of getting dogs dangerously uncontrolled.
