PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT) – A girl and a canine are receiving medical consideration following a home fireplace in Petersburg.
Petersburg Hearth-Rescue had been referred to as round 12:30 p.m. to the 200 block of Witten avenue on Pocahontas island resulting from stories of a home fireplace on Sunday, Nov 13.
When crews arrived they had been met with heavy smoke and fireplace coming from the entrance of the two-story house.
Firefighters entered the house with zero visibility to rescue a girl in her 60′s and her canine.
The lady was taken to a close-by hospital whereas the canine was taken to a vet. Presently, there isn’t any replace on the situation of the girl or the canine.
Seven Petersburg Hearth-Rescue models, together with Southside Emergency crews, arrived to include the hearth which was marked beneath management inside 20 minutes.
