Britain’s largest canine rehoming charity is experiencing “unprecedented demand”, with the cost of taking care of a pet rising at greater than twice the speed of inflation.
Dogs Trust says file numbers of householders need to surrender their animals and a few of its kennels are actually so busy they’ve ready lists.
