FRANKLIN, Va. (WTKR) – A canine who saved his foster household from a ship hearth has discovered a eternally home.
He’s a Great Pyrenees named Moose and he’s settling in along with his new household in Virginia.
“It’s hard not to fall in love with a sweet fellow like that,” Ciara Hill, Moose’s new proprietor, stated.
Hill lately adopted the pup from the Portsmouth Humane Society after following tales about him.
Moose rescued his foster household from a fireplace just a few weeks in the past. He was adopted a day after the hearth however wasn’t a great match. So, he went again to the shelter.
“We saw that he had been returned, and I was talking to my husband. He was like, ‘Well, go get him,’” Hill stated.
And she went and obtained Moose who has since been getting acclimated to his new home.
“My other animals are welcoming him in, and he seems to be pretty comfortable,” Hill stated.
Portsmouth Humane Society Executive Director Dyanna Uchiek stated it’s essential to take the time to ensure the pet you’re pondering of adopting is the right match.
According to Hill, Moose has had no hassle adapting.
“He has just made himself at home,” she stated.
Moose gained’t be lonely in his new home. The Hill household already has dogs, cats, chickens and a tortoise.
