A Florida man supposedly impersonated a certified vet and run on a pregnant dog that passed away days later on due to issues from the mishandled surgical treatment, authorities said.
Osvaldo Sanchez, 61, was jailed Friday and charged with animal abuse and practicing veterinary medication without a license following the death of a six-pound Chihuahua called Sugar, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sugar was having problem providing her puppies so her owners connected to Sanchez, a certified animal groomer who had actually been formerly presented to the owners as a veterinarian, the workplace said.
