IRVINE — Firefighters and animal companies officers on Saturday used a ladder truck to rescue a canine from a fourth-floor balcony at an Irvine residence when a canine acquired locked out and nobody was home.

The Orange County Fire Authority posted on X at 6:23 p.m. Saturday that the canine went out on the balcony and the door closed behind it.
The firefighters and animal companies officers used the aerial ladder bucket to grab the canine and produce get all 4 of its paws safely on the bottom.
“We are happy to share that the dog is doing well and is resting at home with her family,” Irvine Police reported on social media.
