CASTRO VALLEY – Authorities within the East Bay are trying to find a driver who shot at a person and a canine throughout an obvious street rage incident in Castro Valley on Monday.
According to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began within the space of Foothill Boulevard and Castro Valley Boulevard round 12:40 p.m. Deputies stated a 70-year-old man and his 14-year-dog have been of their pickup when the suspect tried to move them.
As they continued eastbound on Castro Valley Blvd. in direction of Redwood Road, the sheriff’s workplace stated the suspect shot the mattress of the pickup twice earlier than fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, the sufferer drove to the close by California Highway Patrol substation on Redwood Road to security.
“The sufferer was startled, however thankfully, unhurt,” the sheriff’s workplace stated in a press release.
