Authorities are trying to find individuals accountable for discarding dogs in front of 2 north Harris County station house Sunday.
The Northwest Volunteer Fire Department said an animal cruelty report has actually been submitted after numerous dogs were discovered discarded and left in what they said were awful conditions at Station 42 in Bammel Oaks Estates in north Harris County.
The department shared images on Facebook of the dogs.
“Good thing for them, we’re animal lovers and we took them in. They have been fed, watered, and even given baths,” the department said.
The animal cruelty report is being submitted with the Harris County Precinct 1 Constables Office.
In another occurrence, the Champions Emergency Services District said an individual discarded 2 dogs in a cage without any water in the sun in front of Fire Station 11 on Champion Forest Drive.
They shared monitoring video of the individual in concern. They ask if anybody acknowledges them to call cops.
It is not understood whether the 2 occurrences are linked, however the Champions Emergency Services District said the authorities at both stations compared the dogs and they seem of the very same breed.
The dogs are now at the SPCA.
