RESCUE groups swung into motion after a canine plunged 70ft over a cliff on the Dorset coast.
Coastguard rescue groups had been mobilised to assist rescue the Labrador close to Swanage on Friday.
A spokesman for Swanage Coastguard mentioned: “Swanage, St Albans and Kimmeridge Coastguard groups had been tasked to the Downs after Milo the canine took a visit over the sting and ended up about 70ft beneath.
“The Coastguard groups got here collectively to arrange their rope gear and despatched a Coastguard Rescue Technician down with the specialist canine gear.
“Milo a black Labrador was out for a walk with their proprietor when he determined to take a path over the cliff.
“Milo was safely recovered from a ledge and introduced again to their very grateful house owners.”
