A canine has been critically injured after consuming rat poison not noted “maliciously” in a rustic park in Glasgow.
Glasgow City Council issued a warning on social media after a canine ate the poison at Pollok Country Park.
They urged canine walkers within the space to maintain their pets underneath “close control”.
The council additionally confirmed that the poison had been not noted “maliciously”.
An announcement from Glasgow City Council learn: “A canine has been critically injured in Pollok Country Park after consuming rat poison left maliciously.
“For now dog walkers are urged to keep their pets under close control & remain vigilant when their dogs investigate items on the ground.”
