Police are on the lookout for a middle-aged male suspect who reportedly left his car and grabbed a lady Saturday afternoon in northeast Peterborough.
In a sequence of posts on X, the Peterborough Police Service stated the suspect was driving an older-style black SUV and approached a lady who was walking her canine within the space of Trent Street and Euclid Avenue, off of Armour Road,
The man started following the lady on foot after which grabbed her hood, telling her to return with him, police stated, including that the canine “intervened and bit the male.”
The man drove away within the close by space of Caddy Street, police stated.
The suspect is described as in his 50s with salt-and-pepper hair and clear shaven. He stands roughly six-feet, four-inches and has a medium build.
At the time of the incident he was sporting a black coat, blue denims and white sneakers.
No additional particulars have been available on the car.
