A bicyclist threw rocks by the rear window of a automobile, protecting two dogs within the again seat with glass, in an obvious act of street rage in Dupont Circle Tuesday afternoon.
Frankie Sanderson stated he was driving down Q Street NW together with his dogs within the automobile when he noticed a bicyclist weaving, not allowing him to move.
“The guy’s obviously just like not paying attention to the traffic behind him, so I gently tap on my horn, and he moves out of the way, no problem,” Sanderson stated.
Then he regarded in his rearview mirror.
“And I see this guy driving aggressively toward me, and I think to myself, This doesn’t look good,” Sanderson stated.
In an instantaneous, the again window of his automobile shattered. Two rocks had come by the window.
“I’m in rage mode, and I follow him,” Sanderson stated.
He took a number of pictures of the person and shared them with police.
“It was traumatizing, and the first couple of minutes that I was chasing him, I was enraged, but what broke my heart was seeing my dogs so terrified,” Sanderson stated.
He stated he needed to pull glass from the dogs’ paws when he obtained home.
Sanderson stated town must crack down on drivers and bicyclists ignoring the principles of the street.
Police are searching for the bicyclist.
