COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO) – The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is hosting its very first “Dog Days at the Zoo” and they’re asking you to bring your canine kiddo for an experience.
Tuesday, May 16, and Saturday, June 3, you can include an additional ticket to your family outing for the day of your see.
Tickets for both members and non-members show the rate of an adult non-member ticket, Zoo authorities state, so, costs will differ by entry time and day varying from $19.75 to $34.75.
As part of the very first “Dog Days,” Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has requirements and standards for visitors who intend on bringing their animal:
- Dogs should have an updated rabies vaccination.
- Dogs should be on a leash at all times.
- Leashes should be no longer than 6’ and non-retractable.
- Leashes should be connected at all times, even if the dog remains in a provider or stroller.
- One dog ticket per adult ticket.
- Guests with dogs can access most locations of the Zoo, however there are a couple of limitations.

- Dogs should stay under their human’s control and not act in an aggressive or disruptive way.
- Excessive agitation of Zoo animals or visitors since of barking or other habits might lead to the celebration being asked to leave the Zoo without a refund.
- This chance is available for dogs just; sorry, no other animals are permitted.
