Cheryl May says she was “traumatised” after she and her grand son, Zac, were assaulted while taking pleasure in a night at St Ives Holiday Park in Cornwall recently.

“Two women existed and they were charming and were attempting to help me.

Cheryl says she handled to get away however was followed into the park’s clubhouse by the owners of the dog, who she declares were shooting her.
She said: “After that, the guy and lady followed us into the clubhouse and my child saw he was shooting. I swore and yelled at him to go out. People there got him out and locked the door.
“I’ve remained in shock for 3 days and shaking and weeping. It was dreadful, it resembled a scary movie. I can’t sleep.
“I’ve been at the health center to have actually a plaster done and I’ve got to go to the fracture center. I’ve got a huge swelling on my chest. My arms have plenty of bites, I’ve got prescription antibiotics to take.”
Cheryl and Zac are now getting medical treatment, although Cheryl says she fears for her child and grand son’s psychological health and wellbeing.
She said: “His pants are ripped to pieces and he’s got some injuries on his side and all his arm is bandaged up. He had bites all under his arm, he needed to go down in theatre for a deep tidy.
“I wish to attempt and get some help for them. I do not understand if we’ll have the ability to head out, we’re all simply secured.”
