A billionaire couple in the UK trying to find a live-in dog baby-sitter apparently needed to pull their publishing for the $127,000-a-yearr position since they were swamped with interest.
According to Oakland’s KTVU-TV. a high-end recruitment firm based in London called Fairfax and Kensington published the listing on ConnectedIn a couple of weeks earlier.
“Our returning client is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Dog Nanny to provide top-tier care for their two beloved dogs,” the advertisement read, per The New York Post. “They are truly looking for someone at the top of their field who can ensure the overall well-being, happiness, and safety of their dogs.”
That consists of providing their medications, taking them to visits, and bending some “positive reinforcement techniques to maintain and enhance their training.”
This seems like the ultimate chance for somebody with a gender research studies degree. Especially from someplace like, oh, state San Francisco State.
The settlement was £100,000, which is around $127,000. Can you think of making a six-figure wage from viewing dogs? Most people do that while managing genuine jobs. Not just that, we need to spend for the advantage of looking after the dog.
In short, this was one hell of a sweet gig.
That’s why (although media protection assisted) the variety of candidates soared from 300 to more than 2,000.
“This is the first role we’ve offered of its kind. The salary connected to it is pretty unheard of,” employer George Dunn informed Kennedy News. “Even as a vet, you’d be struggling to earn that amount of money.”
Still, if you’re still considering stopping your job and avoiding throughout the pond, there are some drawbacks. It informs candidates to anticipate irregular hours and needing to work nights, weekends, and on vacations.
