Armed police swooped on a home in a dramatic raid which closed a residential avenue.
Six officers had been seen getting into a home in Godinton Road, Ashford, following studies of “threats being made”.
Residents say drones had been flying overhead and police dogs had been introduced in as officers focused the property.
Police closed Godinton Road, between the junctions for James Street and Western Avenue, after being known as at about 2.30pm.
Three males had been arrested and two officers are nonetheless guarding the home, which sits on the junction with Western Avenue.
A police spokesman stated: “We were called to a report of threats being made at an address in Godinton Road, Ashford, at about 2.30pm.
“Officers, including armed officers, attended the address and three men were arrested at the scene. Inquiries continue.”
