An Airbnb proprietor was left horrified after discovering her Highlands vacation home had been trashed by a puppy vendor.
Tracey Parsons had rented the Inverness cottage out to a lady for ten days final weekend.
“She rented the property for herself and one dog for ten days, which was unusual but I was happy to have a January booking,” Ms Parsons mentioned.
On the Tuesday after the shopper’s arrival, 14 puppies and a canine had been found on the cottagwe which was lined in faeces and garbage.
Ms Parsons, and her accomplice David Bradley, had been contacted by their neighbour who had seen an deserted automobile up the street from the home containing puppies.
The neighbour knocked on the door and instructed Ms Parsons she was hit with a “foul smell and yapping dogs”.
Mr Bradley headed straight for the property, whereas Ms Parsons was unwell at home.

She later attended the property and located the puppies left in cages.

“I don’t think she realises the damage she has done,” Ms Parsons mentioned, “We’re a week on and still cleaning, can’t get rid of the smell.”

Scottish SPCA inspector Andy Brown mentioned: “We had been known as out to a cottage in Scaniport, Inverness, on Tuesday, January 9, after receiving stories of puppies being left in a automobile for days.
“When we attended there have been no dogs within the automobile. Quite a few puppies had been being saved within the property, together with their mum, and we had these animals checked over by a vet.
“The vet had no considerations over their well being. We are persevering with to work with the proprietor of those animals to make sure they’re being appropriately cared for.
