Around 6 a.m., somebody referred to as police after seeing a canine was tied to a pole on Lexington Avenue close to Unami Park.
The canine, named Zeus, was left with an indication that mentioned, “Not rabid, no biting, want a home.”
Animal Control Solutions took within the Pit-mix and mentioned he’s wholesome and warming up with the employees.
Police say the canine was left to fend for himself, chilly and alone.
“It was 25, no water, no meals round it,” mentioned Captain Matthew Nazzaro with the Cranford Police. “There actually will not be an excuse for leaving a canine. There could also be causes, however there may be not a cause to go away a canine in these excessive temperatures.”
