NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – Danger sparked at two South Florida properties, leaving households and not using a place to remain and main first responders to return to the rescue of a number of pets.
Ten Miami-Dade Fire Rescue models responded to the scene of the primary blaze within the space of Northwest nineteenth Avenue and 187th Street in Miami Gardens, at round 9 a.m., Sunday.
Video offered by MDFR confirmed flames and a plume of darkish smoke billowing from the burning home.
Firefighters attacked the fireplace, which consumed the one-story home and two vehicles parked exterior.
“At approximately 9 a.m., we received a call for a kitchen fire. Upon arrival, the house was fully involved with two cars on fire outside,” stated MDFR spokesperson Shaun Smiley. “Fortunately, all occupants were able to get out. Unfortunately, there were some animals still inside.”
Sadly, a number of dogs have been trapped inside and perished within the fireplace. Several others made it out and are at present being handled.
Hours later, 10 extra MDFR models responded to the scene of a second home fireplace within the space of Northwest thirtieth Avenue and one hundredth Street.
Firefighters labored to rescue Ruby, a canine that was trapped inside, as flames ravaged the home.
Crews have been in a position to find the canine and return her safely to her proprietor.
“Is she OK?” Ruby’s proprietor requested firefighters in video shared by MDFR.
The canine was effective, due to the quick performing firefighters who saved her.
Volunteers with the American Red Cross are aiding the victims impacted by the weekend fires.
