A Devon cat fashionable on social media that was reported lacking earlier this 12 months has been reunited with its proprietor.

Teddie, who has about 2,800 followers on his Facebook web page, was final seen at an area nightclub three months in the past.

Owner Robyn Waring, from Torquay, mentioned she was “ecstatic” to have her one-year-old pet home after shedding hope.

Miss Waring, 22, described Teddie, who has been recognized to go to colleges, supermarkets, pubs and even ambulances, as “very pleasant” and adventurous.

“A bouncer posted in our Facebook group that Teddie was escorted off the premises and that was the final time we noticed him,” mentioned Miss Waring.

Teddie was discovered after a member of the general public contacted native cat charity Hector’s House to report a cat “hanging across the road crying” on 10 April.

Scanning his microchip revealed the cat was Teddie.

Zara Oldfield, founding father of Hector’s House, mentioned she believed the cat was taken in and fed by a stranger as he had placed on weight.

“Before Teddie went lacking, we noticed him the day earlier than and he was a really slim, match trying cat. When we collected him yesterday, he was twice the scale,” she mentioned.

Miss Waring mentioned it was “pretty” to have Teddie home and thanked the charity for locating him.

She is now elevating money money for Hector’s House.

Mrs Oldfield harassed the significance of getting cats micro-chipped, which shall be a authorized requirement from June, and never feeding cats that aren’t their very own.
