Barefoot SPCA student inspector climbs up a tree to save a stuck, distressed kitten

Lindo Mbele, a student inspector from The Cape of Good Hope SPCA climbs up a tree to save a defenseless kitten from impending threat.

Not all heroes use capes is an expression that proves out for Trainee Inspector, Lindo Mbele from the Cape of Good Hope SPCA.

Mbele climbed a tree, barefoot, to save a stuck and afraid kitten on Sunday when a family from Belgravia called him to help him bring their kitten back to ground level.

Upon arrival, pitiful meowing stimulated the training inspector into action.

Mbele climbed up a tree 25 meters high – completely barefoot and utilizing his knapsack as a makeshift provider to save the powerless kitten from impending threat – what a hero!

He says it took him over an hour to encourage the kitten to come together with him.

If you’re a cat fan, you’ll understand how persistent they can be.

She required some convincing to come to me and much more to get her in my bag. I climbed up down gradually due to the fact that I required to keep looking at her. I remained in the tree for over an hour however it deserved it when I had the ability to provide her back to the family who like her.

Eventually, the student inspector and the daring and untouched cat were quickly securely back on the ground with the kitten’s family.

The saved cat delighted in some food as a treat for being back on the ground.

What a PAWsitive result – Mbele’s peers call him a hero, we believe it’s a purr-fect title!
