Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has offered legendary Irish broadcaster Charlie Bird with an award for his ‘Climb with Charlie’ marketing campaign that raised hundreds of thousands for charity.
The fundraising occasion was the one Irish PR entry to have been shortlisted within the Best-Not-For-Profit class at this yr’s World Public Relations and Communication Awards, earlier than occurring to win the prize.

After the win, the Taoiseach offered Charlie with the award in his workplace at Government Buildings earlier this month.
Speaking concerning the marketing campaign, Varadkar stated: “Charlie has touched the lives of so many individuals in Ireland who adopted his trusted information protection over the years.
