PARIS, Nov 14 (Reuters) – South Africa reported a break out of extremely pathogenic H5N2 bird influenza on a farm in the eastern part of the nation, the Paris-based World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) stated on Monday, pointing out a report from regional authorities.
Some 58 “domestic birds” of an overall flock of 200 were discovered dead of the extremely infectious infection, the report stated, without providing extra information on the kind of birds.
