Tayla and Nathan Broad’s try and fly their french bulldog Charlie from Melbourne to Perth changed into each pet proprietor’s nightmare. 

The former Love Island winner shared her traumatic expertise along with her Instagram followers which started on Monday morning. 

“Our poor Charlie was meant to embark on a flight early this morning,” Tayla wrote in an Instagram Story. “Instead, he has been left on the airport in a crate for over 9 hours with out meals.”

The mannequin and podcaster went on to say that the airline transferring Charlie, Qantas, had not notified the couple that their canine did not get on his scheduled flight. This meant Tayla’s brother had waited at Perth airport for a number of hours to choose up the confused pup.

“No one is ready to inform us the place Charlies is. Just that he did not get placed on his morning flight. We are not sure if he’s presently within the air or nonetheless caught inside a crate on the airport. Tayla’s husband and Richmond AFL participant, Nathan, additionally echoed Tayla’s sentiment on Instagram.

Luckily, Charlie was recovered after just a few harrowing hours.

Qantas have since launched an announcement. 

“Unfortunately the pet was unable to journey on its scheduled flight and was put onto the next available flight later within the day,” a spokesperson said.

“Our crew commonly checked the pet was OK, refilled their water and made certain the crate was clear. The crate was stored beneath cowl in our freight terminal whereas ready.

“We understand how essential it’s for folks to know their pets are nicely cared for after they’re travelling with us.

“We’re sorry for the delay and we’re working with our pet journey brokers to verify we will get them the place they should go as quickly as potential.”

Charlie has settled again home, with Tayla giving one other update on Wednesday.
