The public and land users will start returning home Thursday. The wildfire is now categorized as being held, with Alberta Wildfire reporting that the southern border is 100% managed.

The obligatory evacuation order stays in location. It will be lifted when all vital services in Fort Chipewyan are verified prepared for everybody to return home. Travel by air

Transportation from the filling station to your boat will likewise be supplied. You should take this shuttle bus if you do not have your own transport to Fort McKay.

Everyone returning by air has a 50-pound allowance for baggage, plus a 13-pound little carry-on. Luggage can be crammed in a travel suitcase, big duffle bag or other bags. Before you leave

Returning animals to Fort Chipewyan
