They connected with Winston’s Wheels – a charity based in Sudbury, Suffolk, that offers wheelchairs and strollers to handicapped dogs – and asked if there was anything they might do.

After examining Winnie, they fit her with “cart wheels” declaring it was “the very first wheelchair sheep” that they had actually ever assisted.

“But a week into having them, Winnie unfortunately got up without any usage of her back legs – it actually occurred over night.

“We took her to the veterinarians and was informed she required to be put down. But we didn’t quit, and it was a correct psychological minute seeing her on wheels and running around. We are really grateful to Winston’s Wheels.”
