The RSPCA has launched new information that reveals that reviews of animal cruelty in direction of dogs has elevated by about 13% in Suffolk within the final 12 months – almost double the nationwide common of seven%.

In 2022, there have been 518 reviews made to the RSPCA within the space about cruelty to dogs, in contrast with 459 in 2021.

The reviews range from neglect and abandonment to intentional hurt, which incorporates tried killing, poisoning, beating, improper killing, mutilation and suspicious circumstances.

There had been 101 reviews of those types of violence reported.

Two cockapoo puppies had been dumped on the aspect of Old London Road in Ipswich in May this 12 months and are actually on the mend.
